Best restaurant in Levis, and even elsewhere. Everything is sublime. Not the first time I ate oysters, but clearly the first time I liked that !!! A huge favorite for this pretty place. Important to book. The food is tasty, the service friendly and simple. I took the SURPRISE table, and I loved this concept. I reveled from beginning to end. My son had the risotto which was excellent. Fresh and regional products. Report quantity, quality and excellent price. Affordable gastronomy and quantity. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I hesitate to put a 5 star because it is a well hidden treasure of the south shore and we would like it to remain secret! I had a lot of expectations during our first meal at Claudine's and they were greatly exceeded! Long live the grain of madness !!!

Really original dishes made with fresh products. The concept of the card is also original and rather well brought by the servers.The dishes were obviously very good.The service was great, staff super friendly.Remember to book or come early (we came to 2 at around 6:30 pm, we had a table without reservation but the restaurant was full 30min later).

The GDF never disapoints, it is a hidden gem on the South Side of Quebec that will beso worth your trip. From the moment you enter you'll be charm by the warmth of the small bistro and their wonderful service staff. The menu is ever changing based on the season and the chef inspiration but there is a few classics you HAVE to try like their out of this world blood pudding or the risotto that will ruin all the other risotto for you or the shortbreads that will convince all the non believers. Local products, great ambiance, a wine selection for all wallet, service that makes you feel at home sizes and a view on Quebec city that will leave you breathless, you can't get better than the Grain de Folie

This little gem of a bistro is away from the crowds of Quebec City. The owners take obvious pleasure in preparing authentic French and Quebecois foods, and engage with their patrons to share their enjoyment of the gastronomic explorations. I had gazpacho, canard confit and maple desert, and each was a delight.

The quality of the meals is exceptional! With a menu that changes according to the desires of the excellent chef, including some classics (a boudin prepared to perfection, a soup onion that tastes the sky), the hardest going to the Grain of Folly, it is not to order everything. The option "surprise table d'hôte", which includes starter / meal / dessert chosen by the chef is also a great idea.The service is excellent and we are very well received.To try and try again!

Drove 9 hours and long to Levis and long for a nice Fench dinner. Found this restaurant have very good rating. Head there and very disappointed to find out it's by reservation only. Didn't eat there but this rating is just for being turn away for didn't make reservation.

Awesome. Took the 'surprise' chef menu. Got the crème brulée, which I usually dislike, but found it excellent, finished it in seconds.Service was nice and friendly. The maquereuse was great. The wines by the glass were good, reasonably priced, and they let you taste to check it was to your liking.Only downside was the street noise.

The food, the drinks, the service, and the staff are as awesome as the surrounding landscape.While in Levis on vacation from Ontario we googled suggested restaurants and Au Grain De Folie came up in our results with a 5/5 rating. We can now say ourselves in full confidence that Au Grain De Folie is the perfect 5 star experience. The restaurant is a small and intimate setting. We highly recommend making a reservation as it was not uncommon to watch people being turned away at the door due to max capacity.Our only regret is that we didn't discover it sooner. We were treated like part of the family. For those like ourselves that only speak English, the staff was more than willing and able to accommodate.Do not give up the opportunity to try this place.To the people at Au Grain De Folie, we thank you for a wonderful Québec experience,Dave and Cody

Chef Claudine is amazing. Her meals are crafted with love and creativity. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I would visit Levis again just to eat there. She is talented.
